Remove the Sora watermark — free, no upload
Honestly: not with one click. Sora's mark does not stay in one place, and MarkWipe only removes marks that do. MarkWipe runs an inpainting model inside your own browser, so a frame you exported from a Sora clip is cleaned on your device with no upload, no account and no daily limit.
Opens the tool. There is no Sora preset, so you paint over the mark yourself — which still works for a single frame.

What the Sora watermark looks like
Sora composites a semi-static cloud logo (usually bottom-right) AND a username stamp that MOVES between positions across the video. MarkWipe only handles fixed-position marks, so Sora is deliberately excluded from the one-click preset system rather than shipping a chip that would miss the moving stamp. Manual brush painting still works per frame, but there is no automatic preset for this tool. Re-exported files also lose any C2PA provenance metadata on export, same as every MarkWipe output.
Video support: in development
Sora produces video, and MarkWipe edits images today — so right now this page is for a frame or a screenshot you exported, not the video file itself. Video support is in development. When it ships, the same preset and the same on-device processing apply to the whole clip, and this page will say so.
How to remove the Sora watermark
-
Open your file
Export a frame or take a screenshot from your Sora video, then open it on the MarkWipe homepage.
-
Mark the watermark
Paint over the mark with the brush, or drag a box around it. Cover it fully — a few pixels of the edge left behind are the usual reason a result looks wrong.
-
Remove and download
Press Remove. The area is rebuilt on your device, and you download a lossless PNG with every pixel outside the marked area untouched.
Sora watermark questions
- Does Sora put a watermark on generated videos?
- Yes, and it is more complex than most: a semi-static cloud logo plus a separate username stamp that moves to a different position over the course of the video.
- Can MarkWipe remove the Sora watermark?
- Not with a one-click preset. MarkWipe removes small, fixed-position marks — Sora's moving username stamp is explicitly out of scope for that. We'd rather say so plainly than ship a preset that only removes part of the mark.
